ALEAF believes that as important as it is to use materials that are environmentally friendly, it is our responsibility to reduce landfill and ocean waste by recycling or reusing our products at the end of their life.

Once your ALEAF accessory reaches its end, you can follow the steps outlined below on how to responsibly dispose, recycle or reuse them.

You can also return your item to ALEAF and we will handle the recycling of the product for you. For more information, contact us at info@aleaflk.com. Once we receive your item, you will receive a 10% discount on your next purchase.

DESSERTO

Once your ALEAF accessory has come to the end of its life, you can recycle your product by swapping it with friends or family, donate it to a charity or sell it to a thrift store.

You can also return your item to ALEAF and we will handle the recycling of the product for you. For more information, contact us.

GOTS ORGANIC COTTON

You can reuse the GOTS Organic Cotton lining or send the lining to the nearest textile recycling company from where you live.

By recycling the GOTS Organic Cotton lining used in our products you will help reduce landfill waste.

The recycled cotton is used to make new fabric further reducing the amount of water, dye, energy and chemicals needed.

To recycle GOTS Organic Cotton, complete the following steps:

Step 1: Remove the outer material, lining and all metal trimmings.

Step 2: Pack the lining into a recyclable package.

Step 3: Send the package to the recycling company near you.

HARDWARE

All of the metal fastenings used on our products are recyclable.

You can return the item to us and we will be happy to recycle it for you.

Additionally, you can remove all of the hardware from the bags and find the nearest company to you that recycles non-ferrous metals.

PIÑATEX

Once your ALEAF accessory has come to the end of its life, you can recycle your product by swapping it with friends or family, donate it to a charity or sell it to a thrift store.

To recycle Piñatex, complete the following steps:

Step 1: Remove the lining and all metal trimmings.

Step 2: Shred the material

Step 3: The material can be used as geotextiles to help protect the soil from erosion
